Where do I pick up my IDW25 pass?
It depends on your pass type!
On Monday, April 21, there are two options:
  • VIPs can pick up their badges at the VIP Kick-Off Party that evening.
  • All-Access and Day Pass holders (and VIPs who can’t attend the party) can check in early from 11am–2pm at Union Campus.
Can’t make it Monday? No worries! You can check in and pick up your badge at any of our flagship events—just look for the asterisk (*) on the schedule page. These include:
  • April 22: Indy Pride Panel
  • April 23: AIGA Creatives in Color
  • April 24: Be Nimble Design Pitch Competition + Portfolio Review
  • April 25: Keynote Event
  • April 26: Workshop Day
Just bring your ticket confirmation and we’ll get you set up!
What happens if I lose my pass?
We encourage you to keep your pass close by - as it offers unique discounts at multiple locations around the city during IDW25 (April 21-26). If you lose your badge, it may be reprinted for a $5 charge.
What discounts are offered from participating partners?
Discounts are available exclusively to VIP All-Access, All-Access, and Day passholders and can be requested by showing your badge at the following locations:
The Children’s Museum: 20% off on general admission April 19-27
Indianapolis Museum of Art: 20% off on an annual membership
Forty5: Free tickets to shows at The Vogue and Turntable happening during IDW (April 21-26)
+ 50% off all extra cost add-on events for VIP All-Access and 25% for All-Access holders only
Can I attend events without a pass?
Yes—as long as the event isn’t sold out! You can purchase individual tickets at the door, but registration is still required.

Can I register at the door?
Yes—if the event isn’t sold out! On-site registration is available for most events, but we highly recommend checking the schedule page in advance to view capacity and ticket availability.

Do I need to register for each event individually?
Yes—even if you have an All-Access Pass or Day Pass, you’ll still need to register for each event you plan to attend through your attendee portal.
Many events have limited capacity, and registration helps us manage seating, materials, and check-in lists. To guarantee your spot, we recommend reserving your seat as early as possible.
Your pass unlocks access, but registration ensures you're on the list. Be sure to check the schedule page and log into your portal to start building your personalized IDW25 experience!

How will we know which entrance to use upon arriving for larger events?
For our larger Indy Design Week events, such as our keynotes, we’ve included photos for reference. See below for specific entrance details for the following venues:

Is parking available at the venues during IDW25?
Parking availability varies by venue, but we always aim to make each event as seamless as possible. We recommend visiting the IDW website to see specific parking information!
What’s the best way to stay up-to-date with all things IDW25?
Please be sure to follow us across our social platforms: Instagram. We highly recommend all attendees download the app here (App Store | Google Play) before they arrive at the venue.
What’s the best contact method if I have a question during the week?

Will there be Indy Design Week merchandise available during IDW25?
We have a unique swag opportunity this year... LIVE screen print your very own IDW25 merchandise at Workshop Day (Saturday, April 26). Sign up at indydesignweek.com/2025/workshop-day.
Is Workshop Day free?
Workshop Day is free to high school students and the space is open to the public. However, individual experiences may include the cost of materials, as set by our amazing partners. Workshops are selling out quickly, so we encourage you to reserve your spot here.
What should I wear?
All events are casual or business casual. While we encourage you to wear what’s comfortable, please refrain from wearing anything hateful or hurtful. Come as you are, leave inspired.
What should I bring?
Please bring yourself, your favorite notetaker (iPad, journal, sketchpad, etc), and fully-charged devices. Feel free to bring your business cards, recent inspirations/works and a friend, too! We cannot guarantee access to outlets or storage of any items brought to events.
